Of Course it’s Popular, it’s free - Oracle’s Best Kept Secret
Ahead of the new release of Oracle Application Express (Oracle Apex), Inoapps, the Oracle Reseller and Platinum Partner, will be hosting a webinar to take you through the key point of the application and show you how it can benefit your organisation.
Oracle Application Express is a fully supported, rapid web application development tool for the Oracle database. It uses a modern Web browser and requires limited programming experience to help you develop data centric applications in minutes. To make things even better- it can be deployed into your organisation at no cost.
You may be looking for a single user application as a replacement for MS Excel or a departmental solution to meet a specific need – Oracle Application Express will achieve this for you. The tool can even replace an enterprise application to deliver a key business process. Oracle Apex offers the most flexible and timely development platform in the marketplace today.
Oracle Apex – Future Release 4.1
The forthcoming Oracle Application Express 4.1 tool, due for release soon, has many updates and new functionality to further enhance the tool. Some of these features include:
- No more ugly Oracle error pages - the errors on failed processes can now be sent to the notification bar.
- Improved custom error handling.
- New substitution string #CURRENT_ITEM_HELP_TEXT# - can be added to label templates to display the help text as a ‘tooltip’ when users hover over a label.
- Dynamic actions triggered by template based-buttons.
- ROWID can be used as primary key in form/report wizards.
Inoapps will include information on some of the new features in our webinar on Wednesday 15th June at 2pm GMT. We will also be showcasing some customer case studies of what companies have already achieved with the application and how it has benefitted their organisation.
